Who am I, and where?

15 February 2013

I’m Cynthia. I do this blog, and I just can’t help it. It’s just something that pours out of me. Not as often as I’d like.

That’s me, though. I’m like that. I don’t do most of the things I do as often as I’d like. I bet you don’t either. So that’s okay. We’re cool.

I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, near the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. It’s close to Lake Michigan, which is nice. I share this lovely home with the man and the cat. (Shhhh… Don’t tell the cat. She thinks she allows us to live here.)

I’m pretty funny, or so they tell me. I have issues, but so does everyone. Mine are a little more severe than most, but I’m sure most people think that.

I’m Catholic, which will be obvious, though hopefully not painfully so, if you read me for any length of time. I have friends of all faith traditions, and by that, I really do mean, pretty much, all. (You’d be surprised.) We’re all learning how to do this. It’s better together.

I like knitting, and cooking, and gardening. I read like a fiend. I like good movies (and a lot of bad ones). I’m nuts for Doctor Who and Downton Abbey. I can give you life lessons from Laura Ingalls Wilder and St. Thérèse of Lisieux pertaining to the most random subjects.

Hey! I’d say call me maybe, but we all know where that goes, so try this!

What do you think?
