My life isn’t turning out in any way like I expected, and, while I am sorely tempted, I can honestly blame no one but myself. Some people (even me, on a good day) find that empowering. I just find it depressing.

I think one of the big mistakes we all make is to assume that our life will turn out like we expect it to. There are just too many influences at work in life for it to happen! We can only do our best and hope that fate and outside forces don’t conspire against us….. and then when life gives us lemons… suck ‘em! Oops! That’s not the way that goes
